The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba is pleased to bring Jon Reyes onto its team as the candidate in the St. Norbert constituency for the 2016 provincial election.
“Jon adds strong leadership with his wealth of business and volunteer experience,” said PC Leader Brian Pallister. “I look forward to working with him as we strive to bring a change for the better to St. Norbert, and to all Manitobans.”
Jon has owned and operated a UPS store for the past 13 years, and in his spare time is an on-field official and support staff member for university football and CFL games. He previously served 10 years in the Canadian Forces. As a volunteer, Jon serves on a diversity advisory committee for RCMP commanding officers, is a board member for the Kidney Foundation’s Manitoba branch and is the past-president and founder of the Manitoba Filipino Business Council.
The PC Party is continuing to build momentum across Manitoba, with more nominations coming in the weeks and months ahead.
The PCs have so far nominated 48 candidates in the 57 constituencies. Of the party’s 32 new candidates, 11 are women.
