PC Party nominates Barbara Judt as candidate in St. John’s - Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba - 2016

Longtime advocate for women and children is a strong member of the PC team: Pallister

The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba is pleased to announce Barbara Judt as its candidate in the constituency of St. John’s for the upcoming election in April 2016.

“Barbara is an accomplished businesswoman and a tireless champion of women’s and children’s rights in the community,” said PC Leader Brian Pallister. “Her extensive work with Osborne House has already brought positive change, and we’re bringing her onto our team to further that change for the better in St. John’s and across Manitoba.”

Barbara brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the PC team. As a previous board member and CEO of Osborne House and as a board member of the Osborne Village Business Improvement Zone, Soroptimist International of Winnipeg and the YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards, Barbara is committed to serving her community in various capacities.

The PC Party is continuing to build momentum across Manitoba, with more nominations coming in the weeks ahead.

The PCs have so far nominated 52 candidates in the 57 constituencies. Of the party’s 36 new candidates, 16 are women.
