The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba is pleased to welcome Mamadou Ka as the candidate for the St. Boniface constituency in the next provincial election.
“Mamadou is a widely respected educator also known for contributing to the community as a volunteer and as a writer,” said PC Leader Brian Pallister. “He adds a valuable voice to our team as we work toward bringing a change for the better to St. Boniface, and all of Manitoba.”
Mamadou is a St. Boniface University professor and instructor with expertise in immigration, education and law. As a community leader, he’s been the president of the Franco-Manitoban Society, a commissioner with the Manitoba Police Commission and an advocate for cultural communities and immigrants’ housing. Mamadou has also lent his insight and expertise to local media outlets as a political analyst.
The St. Boniface nomination is the second one this week for the PC Party, which is building momentum across the province with more candidates to be announced in the weeks and months ahead.
